this works for me:

(setq wl-draft-folder ".~/maildir/Drafts")

then C-c C-z and C-x C-s produce a copy of the draft in that maildir
folder. I have disabled the automatic saving of drafts, therefore, I
cannot say if that would save in the same folder as well.
