Have you received updated emacs package? If yes, you need to recompile
wl.

not that i can think of actually...
but i have to try. problem being that i seem to have various versions of wl installed (in ~/.emacs.d and in /usr/local/share/emacs/site-lisp) which i have to clean up first.
i don't think it will solve the problem tough
