Mailcrypt vs. EasyPG

Hi there,

Anyone here using mailcrypt? Or EasyPG? Especially, now that EasyPG is
in Emacs 23, I thought about moving from mailcrypt. The Debian
mailcrypt package (3.5.8+CVS.2005.04.29.1-12.1) depends on emacs22,
emacs21 or emacs-snapshot, which seems to provide further incentive to
switch. I now have mailcrypt installed from the source, rather than
the Debian package.

Google tells me that there is a SEMI replacement called
EMIKO-EasyPG. The EasyPG website provides a link to the sf.net files
download section for the EasyPG project as a place to get a copy of
this code. However, the sf.net download page it points provides only
the core epg distribution. It seems that the emiko package can be
downloaded from the sf.jp files section for the EasyPG project. I
wonder why it's only available from there?

Anyway, is anyone using EMIKO? Does it work all right? Is it a better
choice than SEMI + mailcrypt?

Best,
Richard
