I've tried Emacs 24 (trunk) from bzr and apel/flim/semi/wl from CVS on
Arch Linux. Flim does byte-compile; but displaying a lot of messages
failed. I cannot remember the error message at the moment.

So I am using emacs-23 (bzr) again.
