Please ask on the davmail list - Mickaël Guessant is very responsive,
and if it is a davmail problem then it should be fixed. Sign up here:

If you want a workaround, perhaps consider using getmail to create a
local maildir - not as nice as IMAP, but then again I don't trust
Exchange with storing my mails either.
