In January 2003, we asked the IESG to send us a list of meetings that should not conflict with IETF Meetings. We received input from three AD's: Per Thomas Narten: 3GPP - CN and SA groups meetings Per Randy Bush: APNIC (1 meeting per year) LANIC (1 meeting per year) NANOG (3 per year) RIPE (3 per year) SigComm (1 per year) InfoCom (1 per year) Per Steve Bellovin: Usenix Security (1 per year) IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy (1 per year) ISOC's NDSS (1 per year) In addition to the list above, we track other meetings that may be of interest to the Internet community. The list of meetings that we track is presented at the end of this message. If there are meetings that should be added or deleted from the list below, please let me know. As Thomas requested in his message yesterday to meeting-planning@ietf.org, 3GPP2 will be added to the "Do Not Conflict" list. At this time, we will be able to avoid a conflict with the 3GPP2 meeting scheduled for July of 2004 since we are in the process of obtaining proposals and our dates are flexible. The dates that we are now considering are either July 25-30 or August 1-6. It is possible that some groups schedule their meetings without looking to see if they conflict with tentative or scheduled dates for IETF meetings. If there are specific groups that we need to coordinate with on a regular basis, then please let us know, and provide us with points of contact.
