Dear RFC Editor-

The IESG recommends that Backtrace Messages for Label Switched Paths 
<draft-kishan-lsp-btrace> NOT be published as an Experimental RFC.

The IESG has considered draft-kishan-lsp-btrace and consulted the MPLS WG 
chairs. The subject of the draft is within the charter of the MPLS WG, 
however the draft has not been discussed there. The IESG believes that 
publishing this draft would represent an end-run around the MPLS WG, and 
hence recommends that the RFC Editor does not publish it. If the authors 
would like to continue pursuing the subject, they should be advised to 
bring the document for discussion to the MPLS WG.
