Good stuff.
A nit: the section headers are upper-cased, like:
1. INTRODUCTION
.. while in the ToC they're lower case with upper casing the first letters.
The latter would probably be better.
Also, as this seems like a high-level introduction to DNS & IPv6, perhaps
one should add something like below at the end of the Introduction
section:
The IP protocol version used for querying resource records is
independent of the protocol version of the resource records; e.g.
IPv4 transport can be used to query IPv6 records and vice versa.
but whether this is really necessary is questionable.
