YMMV. If you look at some other SDOs, the process for producing
"authoritative" statements is formal, but doesn't necessarily produce
anything meaningful.

In the case of 3GPP2, we've been pushing them to get a dependency list
together of IETF documents they need. Seems like an obvious thing to
help focus discussion and priorities and help the IETF understand
which of our documents they really need.

Turns out that what is in their dependency list has little correlation
with reality. What they have is a formal process for adding stuff to
the list, and vendors jockey to get random drafts added to it. Having
a draft in that list doesn't necessarily imply it is in any 3GPP2
spec.

Liaising can be fun (in a sick way...)
