Dr. Eng’s research program is headquartered at the GF Strong Rehab Centre which is the largest rehab program in BC. She has clinical training in physiotherapy and occupational therapy, as well as research training in biomedical engineering. She has published over 180 peer-reviewed publications in the field of neurological rehabilitation. Two of her stroke programs, GRASP for improving arm and hand function and FAME for improving fitness and mobility, are used in over 1500 sites in 40 countries. In 2009, she was inducted as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. Her work has been recognized by a Jonas Salk Award for lifetime contributions to reducing disability.
