Dr. Siddharta Mukherjee, MD, PhD

will be addressing the Vancouver Institute on October 4, 2014 at 8:15 p.m., Lecture Hall No. 2 in the Woodward Instructional Resources Centre, University of British Columbia.
Dr. Mukherjee is a cancer physician and researcher. He is an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University and a staff physician at the CU/NYU Presbyterian Hospital. He obtained his D.Phil. at the University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar, and his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. His work has been featured in The Best American Science Writing, Nature, The New England Journal of Medicine, The New York Times, and The New Republic. His best-selling book The Emperor of All Maladies, won the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction in 2011.
