Or maybe extend org-issue.el http://orgmode.org/worg/code/elisp/org-issue.el I use it to record open issues with Org mode (I some weeks behind, I know) and it allows in Summary: - capture an Org mode entry for a particular message - flag the message after capturing - jump to the Org entry - tag the Org entry - manipulate the todo state of the entry Based on the message-id header which is stored in a Org mode property.
