Right, depending on usage, this can create either a circular or spiral
dependency between SLP and DNS, and the doc neither warns about thsi
nor gives one enough information to tell how likely it is to happen.

As far as I could tell from reading the doc, the DNS names are a
"given" (ie, they come out of thin air :).
