Bill Reid: The Making of a Reputation

A native of Victoria, Dr. Tippett has won numerous awards for her writing, including the Governor-General's Award for non-fiction and the Sir John A. Macdonald Prize for Canadian History. Among her works are: By a Lady: Celebrating Three Centuries of Art by Canadian Women, Between Two Cultures: A Photographer Among the Inuit, and biographies of Emily Carr and F. H. Varley. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Dr. Tippett is a Senior Research Fellow at Cambridge University as well as a member of its Faculty of History.
