Re: Comments regarding draft-freed-mime-p4-04.txt
Ned,
You seem to have mistaken me for someone who participates in W3C-IETF
co-ordination work; I am not, and therefore can't answer these
questions. When the responsibility for this I-D was given to me, I
wasn't informed of what you refer to or the need for their involvement,
but I'll be sure to work through them in the future.

Then ask yourself these questions: How many revisions to registration
procedures have been the result of W3C-IETF coordination work but then
were
subsequently rejected by the IESG? And how many documents have been

during the brief period when it was believed the original approach was
viable?
Once you have answered these questions it should be easy for you to
determine
whether or not this situation was a fluke or something that happens
all the
time.
