One Man's Justice: The Law and the Struggle For a Just Society

Tom Berger has a long and distinguished record of public service. He served on the Supreme Court of BC for 12 years until returning to the practice of law in 1983. He has been both an MP and MLA for the riding of Vancouver-Burrard, Chair of the Royal Commission on Family and Children's Law, Commissioner of the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline Inquiry, Chair of the Alaska Native Review Commission, and Commissioner of the Indian and Inuit Health Consultation. In recognition of his service to both BC and Canada, Mr. Berger has received the Order of Canada and honorary degrees from over one dozen Canadian universities.
