The Once and Present King: Arthur, Medieval and Modern
Professor Echard received her undergraduate degree at Queen's University, and PhD at the Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include Anglo-Latin literature, Arthurian literature, John Gower, and manuscript studies. Her books include Arthurian Narrative in the Latin Tradition, and Anglo Latin and its Heritage: Essays in Honour of A.G. Rigg on his 64th Birthday, co-edited with Gernot Wieland. Her articles have appeared in Exemplaria, The Journal of Medieval Latin, Nottingham Medieval Studies, Medium Aevum, Studies in Philology, and The Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Philology. She holds a UBC Killam Research Prize for 1998, and a UBC Killam Teaching Prize for 2001.
