will be addressing the Vancouver Institute on January 18, 2003 at 8:15 p.m., Lecture Hall No. 2 in the Woodward Instructional Resources Centre, University of British Columbia.

Discovering Kubla Khan's Lost Fleet

Mr. Delgado has led or participated in shipwreck expeditions around the world, including RMS Titanic, the Carpathia, the ship that rescued Titanic's survivors, the notorious "ghost ship" Mary Celeste, USS Arizona, the sunken fleet of atomic-bombed warships at Bikini Atoll, and the 1846 wreck of the United States naval brig Somers, whose tragic story inspired Herman Melville's Billy Budd. When not at the Vancouver Maritime Museum, he co-hosts the new National Geographic International Television series The Sea Hunters.
