A Celebration of Great Female Personalities
A versatile singer and director, Nancy Hermiston has performed for such opera companies as Houston, Boston, Cincinnati, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Vancouver. Parallel to her singing, she began her career as a stage director in 1978. She has held numerous appointments as a voice teacher, vocal coach, director and coordinator with the University of Toronto. Ms. Hermiston maintains a thriving career as a singer, including performances in Germany, Czech Republic, Canada, and the United States. She will direct Vancouver Opera's 2004 production of Verdi's La Traviata.
