Crisis and Challenge in Southeast Europe: After the War in Kosovo

An expert on Eastern Europe and the Balkans, Professor Lampe appears regularly on National Public Radio and on American and Canadian television. He has chaired the Russian Area Studies Program at the University of Maryland and has been Director of the East European Studies program of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington since 1987. He was adjunct chair of Balkan Area Studies at the Foreign Service Institute of the Department of State from 1980 to 1988 and editor of the comparative studies segment of Southeastern Europe from 1976 to 1980. This lecture is co-sponsored by the Institute for European Studies and St. John's College at UBC as well as Simon Fraser University's Research Institute on Southeastern Europe.
