Building the Adaptive Corporation

UBC's new Dean of Commerce, Dr. Daniel Muzyka, was educated at Wharton and the Harvard Business School. A passionate believer in a strong and mutually productive dialogue between academics and business people, he has roots in both communities, having worked for G.E. and more recently as associate dean of the MBA program at INSEAD, one of Europe's most prestigious business schools. Dr. Muzyka has devoted his research to the study of entrepreneurship - the prime moving force behind all economic activity. Dr. Muzyka's research has focused on how companies can maintain the entrepreneurial spirit throughout their evolution and how to help the corporation adapt better in the modern, dynamic and highly competitive global environment.
