Uhm, I'm not sure I'm convinced... what I usually do is to quote the
parts I'm replying to, which according to that page is called
"interleaved posting", and then leave the conversation untouched at
the bottom, which apparently is called "top posting".

This, to me, is the most convenient way, since the reply is
understandable since you have a reference but you preserve the
original conversation, which is useful if you have to add people to
the conversation at a later date.

Anyway, I don't want to sidetrack the conversation too much, I'll read
that page with more attention later.
