Are Men's and Women's Brains Really Different?

A native of Saskatchewan and graduate of McGill, Dr. Kimura spent most of her academic career at the University of Western Ontario in the Departments of Psychology and Clinical Neurological Sciences. Her research is in the area of the neurobiology of human abilities, with empahsis on the brain and hormonal mechanisms of human problem-solving functions. Dr. Kimura has published almost 100 articles in scientific journals or books, and has written two books, Neuromotor Mechanisms in Human Communication and Sex and Cognition, published in 1999. She has received numerous awards for her research and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
