Redefining English Canada: The Failure of the Media
An Emmy Award winner, the recipient of a Christopher Award, a National Society of Film Critics Special Award, and the Canadian Film Award for Best Director, Daryl Duke's credits include the much acclaimed television miniseries, The Thorn Birds. His feature film, TaiPan, was the first western feature film to be shot in the People's Republic of China. Mr. Duke has worked for all three of the main U.S. networks and for many of the major studios in Hollywood, and has written, produced, and directed films for the CBC and the National Film Board.
